"The Last Warning," art by Fred Kida; The Ringo Kid has set up camp when he is suddenly ambushed by a lawman; However, the sheriff is not there to arrest him but to ask for his help; He explains that to most he is known as Pat Howland the sheriff of Calope, but he was once an outlaw named Pony Clanton before he reformed; He explains that his old gang managed to track him down and asked him to rejoin them or have his secret exposed. "Locoweed" text story, art by Joe Maneely. "Dead Man's Duel," art by Fred Kida; The Ringo Kid has agreed to face Cabe Tilden to duel it out in an enclosed area after he and Hank Sawyer swindled Jim Connor's ranch; They agree to clamp a kerchief between each others teeth, promising only to draw and shoot once they both drop it. "Vengeance Is Mine," art by Fred Kida; Sheriff Sam Kimball has been gunned down Gila Bass with the Ringo Kid coming to his side; As he dies, Kimball hands the Ringo Kid his guns and tells him not to get revenge against Bass, telling him that somehow he will get revenge himself, telling the Kid to hang up his guns in his office. "Back Down or Die," script by Stan Lee, art by Doug Wildey. "Showdown In Calico," script by Stan Lee, art by Fred Kida; The Ringo Kid is camped out for the night when he hears someone approaching his camp and draws his guns; It turns out to be Matt Horn, the sheriff of Calico and he is in rough shape; The Kid learns that the entire town, including his father Cory Rand, are in trouble as the Black Widow mob have taken over the entire town. 36 pgs., full color. "Deadline In Caribou," art by Joe Maneely; In the town of Caribou, the Ringo Kid was forced to turn over his guns to the local sheriff; Not long after entering town the Kid is tricked into thinking horse Arab was stolen by Shag Wilson and Brink Loran; Going after them to the local blacksmith shop to recover it only to find that he has walked into an ambush. "One Hour Truce," art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid, his father Cory Rand, and his Comanche friend Dull Knife roll into the town of Nogales; Their arrival is seen by some outlaws who go to warn their boss Jag Fresco who orders his men to arm up and keep the Kid and his friends off his back; The Kid is confronted by some of Jag's men, but he easily disarms them and goes to see Fresco. Untitled story, art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid spots a cattle fence that has been torn down and stops to mend it; He is stopped by a man named Ronson and his posse who accuse the Kid of trying to rustle their cattle. "The Racing Herds," art by Joe Maneely. "The Payoff," script by Stan Lee, art by Doug Wildey. "Challenge In the Night," art by Joe Maneely; With his father arrested by the soldiers at Fort Cheyenne, the Ringo Kid races there and demands an audience with the commanding officer, however he is refused admittance into the fort; Forced back, the Ringo Kid calls on his friend Dull Knife and they plot to sneak into the fort; To do this, Dull Knife uses a small tree as a catapult to launch the Ringo Kid over the fort wall; The Kid then fights his way into the court room and insists that the charges against his father are false. 36 pgs., full color. "A Badge to Die For!", art by Joe Maneely; In the town of Cross Creek, Sheriff Jim Langtry is gunned down by a pair of outlaws; Before they can kill him, the Ringo Kid gets in the way, ordering them to stand down; When the two outlaws draw, the Kid shoots the guns out of their hands and tells them to get packing. "The Troublemaker," art by Gene Colan. Untitled story, art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid is riding past a waterfall when he notices a logger and a bunch of logs go over the falls; Rushing to the man's rescue, Ringo manages to pull the man out of the raging river before he can drown; The man turns out to be Jim Abbot a local logger. Untitled story, art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid is riding across the range and comes across a wanted poster for a young man named Frisco Durand; Incidentally enough, Durand gets the drop on him, thinking that Ringo is after the reward on his head; Frisco tries to steal the Kid's horse, and Ringo tries to talk sense into him. "Duel by Sundown!", art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid is suddenly confronted by Ben Rathburn who is goaded into drawing on the Kid by some locals; Realizing that Ben is sick somehow, the Kid draws and shoots the guns out of his hands. 36 pgs., full color. "Fang, Claw, and Six-Gun!", art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid is spying on Scar Parsons and his gang through a skylight at their meeting place as they plan a raid; The Kid comes crashing through the skylight and faces the outlaws. "The Land-Grabber" text story, art by Joe Maneely. "The Phantom of Coronado!", art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid goes to visit his friend Joe Hammer, a local blacksmith in the town of Coronado, when his friend is suddenly shot dead, but oddly enough there is no sound of a gunshot; The locals tell him that it was the work of the so-called Phantom Gunman. "Man-Killer!", art by Joe Maneely; While in town the Ringo Kid is surprised when his horse Arab suddenly attacks a man named Morley and his men seemingly without provocation; When they try to shoot the stallion, the Ringo Kid shoots the guns out of their hands; When the sheriff arrives, Morley presses charges and the sheriff has no choice but to order the Ringo Kid to pen Arab pending trail. "The Riders of Doom!", art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid rides into a town and soon finds it under siege by the so-called Riders of Doom, remnants of the Union and Confederate armies who regularly come and raid the town; When nobody comes to the defense of the town, the Ringo Kid steps in and sends the Riders packing but takes one of their number captive. 36 pgs., full color. However when the sheriff arrives, the Kid has to defend himself from being implicated as a crime and is locked up as a material witness in insure that he does not flee; Ringo is partnered in a cell with Johnny Tumbleweed, a reformed outlaw who tells him that Chet Guthrie was the reason why he was locked up in jail as well. "The Right of Way text story, art by Reed Crandall. "The Ghost of Sam Magee," art by Joe Maneely; In Gila City, Spotting a stage coach that is out of control, the Ringo Kid rushes after it; But as he grabs hold of the reins an eerie voice orders him to let go of the reins or die and the Kid lets go an narrowly avoids getting trampled; Meeting with the sheriff who was also after the coach he tells his experience and is told that Jake Grimley, the man who was scheduled to ride the stage, said the same thing when the horses suddenly started to run wild. "Make Every Bullet Count," art by Joe Maneely; In the town of Powder Keg the Ringo Kid is heading back to the stable to collect his horse when suddenly someone starts shooting at him; Whirling around he is surprised to find that it is Buzz Drury, who was testing to see if Ringo is still as fast as he remembers. "The Streets of Larrame," art by Joe Certa. "The Pirates of the Plains," art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid, his father Cory Rand, and his Comanche friend Dull Knife ride into the town of Stampede; They are spotted by men under the employ of a gambler named Pecos and they go to warn their boss; When the Ringo Kid and his companions arrive outside the gambling hall, Ringo tells them to wait outside to keep people from interfering with his confrontation; Ringo then confronts Pecos and orders him to return the property he stole from the local Pawnee tribe. 36 pgs., full color. Untitled story, art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid spots an old man Roscoe about to rob a bank and stops him before it's too late; The Kid then returns to the old man's house to find out why he was so desperate as he was let go from his job a ranch hand because his employers thing he is too old to do the job. "Thundering Herd" text story, art by Gene Colan. "The Wreckers," art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid, his father Cory Rand, and Dull Knife cross paths with the Shilo gang who are herding horses and they identify that horses have been stolen and use force to take the stolen horses; They then follow the back trail and reunite the stolen horses with their proper owners, a group of religious homesteaders who are looking for new land to settle in. "The Coward," art by Joe Maneely; Outside a casino in Longhorn the Ringo Kid watches as a man backs out of with guns blazing. The Kid recognizes him as Zack Bolt the fastest gun in the region and wonders why he has backed out of a fight; When Ringo asks him why he backed out of a fight, Zack tells the Kid that he refuses to use his guns ever again. "The Fastest Gun In Cheyenne," script by Carl Wessler, art by Ruben Moreira. "Duel At the Bridge," art by Joe Maneely; The Ringo Kid spots a pony express rider being chased by a posse; The Kid comes to his aid, sending the outlaws fleeing; Curious as to what the men could be interested in an ordinary mail delivery, the Ringo Kid goes into the post office to find out. 36 pgs., full color.
