Untitled story; Spooky scares the smoke from a smokestack to keep the sky clear for his picnic with Poil. "The Word Snatcher"; Words are vanishing from road signs and word balloons; Spooky traces the problem to a hollow tree, where Professor Bumblebrain is testing his new invention, the word snatcher. Untitled story; A particularly scary-looking ghost scares a statue, but Spooky thinks he did it. Untitled story; Spooky uses an "enlarging boo" to turn a dandelion into an umbrella, not realizing there's a bee in the flower. "Bumblebrain's Blunder"; Spooky uses Professor Bumblebrain's book-writing machine against him, and things get back to normal in the forest. "Board Stiff"; Two developers move lumber into the ghosts' house; the Trio scare the wood into toothpicks, which the developers pay them for. "The Scared Rabbit" text story. "The Giant Troll"; After Spooky manages to scare off the troll, he finds the townspeople are not very appreciative.
