    Founded by Ragat Neogy in 1961, Transition Magazine was one of the first official African magazines of its time that dealt with current political, economic, and social issues. Printed in 1961 by Baumann House. This is one of the original printings of Transition Magazine before the magazine was discontinued in 1976. This issue contains articles from Paul Theroux, Abu Mayanja and Ali A. Mazrui.
