"The Man Who Murdered the Past!", script by Bob Haney, pencils by Bob Brown, inks by Nick Cardy; Visiting the old Wayne summer home, Batman reflects on the happy times that he spent there with his parents Coming across his parents ashes, Batman suddenly gets possessed by the ghost of Manuel, the islands old Port-A-Gee who died 50 years ago; Each night the same incident happens, where Batman is possessed by the ghost and causes trouble on the island; Batman calls the Flash for help; the two travel to the spirit world and learn that Manuel is plotting to bring all the spirits to new bodies in the realm of the living; Flash and Batman soon find the source of Manuel's possession ability: A black diamond carved into the shape of the Egyptian life goddess. "The Warrior in a Wheel-Chair," script by Bob Haney, art by Jim Aparo; When Batman is struck by a snipers bullet, only the skilled surgeon Dr. Hellstrom can save his life, however the doctor has to travel to Gotham from Zürich; Meanwhile, Batman is in a weakened condition right at a critical point in his mission to bus the latest shipment of Cocaine into Gotham City; Unable to finish the job himself at risk of killing himself, Batman enlists the aid of Robin, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Green Lantern to help him; He sends the group out to seek out his leads however, each and every single one leads to a dead end; When Batman is undergoing is surgery, the lead surgeon is revealed not to be Dr. Hellstrom, but the drug lord Belknap, who has taken Hellstrom's place to try and kill Batman on the operating table. "Cold Blood, Hot Gun!", script by Bob Haney, art by Jim Aparo; The Bounty Hunter has been hired to kill six wealthy people who are bidding to get ownership of the Fairbarin Estate; This brings the attention of Batman, and Metamorpho, who is revived early in order to protect Sapphire Stagg, who is also on the list; The ordeal lasts until the night when the bidding on the estate begins; It's soon realized that the man who hired the Bounty Hunter is Derwent Fairbarin. Reprint story from Brave and the Bold #19: "The Challenge of the Flying Horse," script by Bob Haney, art by Joe Kubert; To complete his latest task, Jon climbs a mountain where a great sea eagle has its perch, his goal to collect a single feather from it's wing. A dark figure swoops out of the clouds and attacks him, not an eagle, but a winged horse. It carries Jon to Valhalla, a land in the clouds ruled by warrior women.
