This issue features Tales of the Green Beret, the war strip created by author Robin Moore and legendary artist Joe Kubert. Set during the Vietnam War, it helped create a vogue for the special-forces soldiers called Green Berets. Reprints the Tales of the Green Beret daily strip from September 18 to December 30, 1967, printed sideways, 2 dailies per page. This issue picks up immediately after the episodes reprinted in Dragon Lady's Best of the Tribune Company (1985) #3. 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 64 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.95.
