Black Dragon, script by Michael Fleisher, pencils by Vince Giarrano, inks by Kyle Baker; Haywire jumps into the middle of a gangland firefight (just for fun) and kills anybody he can get his hands on; But, a shadowy organization connected to "Project Haywire" sends a "borrowed" assassin called the Black Dragon to kill Haywire; It's a savage battle, but Haywire doesn't have a whole lot of trouble disposing of his opponent; Meanwhile, down-and-out Steven Majorsky continues to deal with the circumstances surrounding his father's death; It would be easier if he could just stop having these blackouts... 36 pgs. $1.25. Nightlash, script by Michael Fleisher, pencils by Vince Giarrano, inks by Kyle Baker; The shadowy committee has hired Nightlash, a psycho dominatrix, to kill Haywire; The ensuing battle ends in a stalemate, with Nightlash escaping after taking some nasty hits, and Haywire suffering injuries from her whip; In other news, Haywire viciously attacks a wife-beater who coincidentally lives right next to Steve Majorsky, and Alex Kingman awakes the next day with welts on his back; Is one of these men Haywire?; They certainly don't suspect it. 36 pgs. $1.25. Recognitions, script by Michael Fleisher, pencils by Vince Giarrano, inks by Jose Marzan Jr.; A heavily-armed assault force attacks Steven, forcing him to (involuntarily) transform into Haywire; After dispatching the gunmen, Steven is himself again, with no memory of what happened; Meanwhile, Alex still bears scars on his back that look suspiciously like those sustained by Haywire in a previous battle; He wanders into Steven's neighborhood and seems to recognize Steve's girlfriend; Finally, a new assault force wearing armor similar to Haywire's tracks him down very near to Alex's whereabouts; But, they're simply no match for Haywire's savagery. 36 pgs. $1.25.
