"Like Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust," script by Larry Hama, pencils by Mike Vosburg (breakdowns), inks by Jon D'Agostino (finishes); The Joes begin reconstruction on a better Pit; As they later attend Flagg's funeral, they're attacked by the new experimental Cobra jet, the Rattler, but it's destroyed by Duke (new field commander) and Roadblock.
