Reproduction of telegram from John Coleman Burroughs telling Frank Shonfeld that his father was safe (Shonfeld sent telegram to see if ERB was all right after Pearl Harbor attack). Articles include a short personal article by Bill Ross and a reproduction of a local election ballot featuring "John Weissmuller". Stapled once upper left corner. Four pages, black and white.

Articles include convention reports from 1998, reprinting all of ERB's short pieces entitled "Laugh It Off" from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin newspaper during World War II, "Some Problems in Citation of the Works of Edgar Rice Burroughs", Joe Ferrier looks at the pistols and rifles of Lord Greystoke's father.
