THE CONCEPT: Dawn, the Goddess of Birth and Rebirth, leads her earthly lover Darrian Ashoka across a post-apocalyptic Europa on a journey for his salvation and their reunion. He is eternally questing, and yet she is always just one step away. THIS ISSUE: Having deserted from the army, Darrian finds himself picking up extra cash by fighting numerous duels that are challenging but ultimately senseless. It has been six years since Darrian has seen Dawn, and he has all but given up hope. Going to the river to wash the sin from his hands, he chances upon a young woman bathing. He descends into the waters hoping to have an intimate encounter, but what he gets is a face to face meeting with the Young Goddess herself... Cover price $2.95.
