Each issue had 20 pages. In addition to comic stories, issues featured puzzles, editorials, and letters columns. The stories, including ones by Carl Barks, were serialized and often printed one page per issue, but each issue ended with one complete story. As a result, many stories were resized to five or six lines per page.

Porky Pig and the Renegades of Roaring Gulch; Roaring Gulch is holding a Pioneer Days celebration, but they picked the same days as the surrounding towns' celebrations, so no one has come; Porky decides to liven things up by staging a bank robbery re-enactment, but ends up attracting real bank robbers. Untitled story; Porky thinks he's sold the house next door to a quiet old lady, but she turns out to be the leader of a noisy band. Dognip Plant; Cicero and Porky find a strange plant that affects dogs like catnip does cats; However, they also find out that when eaten by humans, it causes them to act like dogs. Vol. 4 #12- 1955. Science Fantasy, which later became Impulse and then SF Impulse, was a UK published science-fiction and fantasy digest that began production in the Summer of 1950 and was distributed by Nova Publications as a companion to Nova's New Worlds. When Nova went out of business in early 1964, The title was changed to Impulse in early 1966, to little avail, and then changed once more to SF Impulse for the last few issues. Science Fantasy ceased publication the following year, after the printer went bankrupt. Edited by John Carnell. Stories by A. Bertram Chandler, E.C. Tubb, Brian Aldiss and others.
