Original Process/Prelim Cover Art for Absolute Green Arrow #1D (2026) by Tula Lotay from Absolute Green Arrow (2026 DC) 1D 2026 DC One of the best and most singular artists of the modern age, Tula Lotay's instantly recognizable work is the result of an intensive process where she continuously adds to each piece with various mediums, scanning in the results and printing out fresh blue lines before adding more until she's satisfied. It's this process that gives her work its signature look and results in some fantastic comic art. For the Dinah Lance page, we can see that Lotay has the figure down as it appears identical to the final cover, however she was still playing around with the face and head at this point, defining the shading present in the blue lines with immaculate pencil work. For the Arrow Killer image, which would end up behind Dinah on the final cover, we see that he was initially facing to the right with the beautifully drawn skull mask sinking into a wonderfully evocative inkwash bath, calling to mind both the copious amounts of blood present in the story and the oily and all-consuming blackness of death. Both pages are signed by the artist. Mixed media over printed roughs on two sheets of heavy art stock. Both measure 11 3/4" x 16 1/2". |

Original Cover Art for Absolute Wonder Woman #20B (2026) Pencils by Terry Dodson, Inks by Rachel Dodson from Absolute Wonder Woman (2024 DC) 20B 2026 DC A bold, iconic cover from the Dodsons whose instantly recognizable style has been a mainstay of comics for nearly three decades! No strangers to rendering the Amazonian over the years, this cover is the duo's fourth for the Absolute iteration of Diana and does a great job highlighting the primary visual differences between Absolute Wonder Woman and her main universe counterpart. Front and center is of course the Buster Sword filling the page from top to bottom while the imposing figure of her skeletal, raised-from-the-dead Pegasus looms over. What's most impressive though is the subtle visual touch of hiding most of her right arm behind the sword, nodding towards the fact that she is in fact missing that arm with a magic replacement in its place. Also included is a CGC 9.8 copy (Label #4751195015) of the published issue. Signed by the artists. Pencil (blue line and standard) and ink over lightly printed roughs. 13" x 19". |

Original Painted Cover Art for True Adventures Vol. 35, #2 (1966) by Basil Gogos from True Adventures Magazine (1955-1971 New Publications) Vol. 35 #2 1966 Known primarily for his iconic paintings for Famous Monsters of Filmland, Basil Gogos was a prolific artist contributing attention-grabbing covers not just to Warren's array of publications to but various men's adventure magazines throughout the 60's and 70's, pulling all manner of the fantastic into lush reality on the page. Most men's adventure mags focused on either combat or sex, but the best combine the two like this entry of True Adventure featuring a stunningly beautiful but undeniably dangerous cover subject. Gogos' cover image for the ($200 prize winning) story "Tiger Lady of the China Sea" captures the femme fatale described by the author perfectly, right down to her brilliant green eyes as she coldly stares at her latest victim. Gogos is well known for his use of color and while it's a bit more subtle here than on his monster work, some touches stand out like the hint of green in the light on the man's right shoulder reflecting the tropical plant life and on the incredible amount of texture and depth he gives the skin of the Tiger Lady. Includes certificate of authenticity from Bill Diamond with corresponding seal sticker on the reverse of the piece as well as a copy of the published issue. Acrylic on board, 20" x 27". |

Katie Carva grew up reading the adventures of Vampblade, beginning a lifelong love of comics that led to her working in a comic shop. When the store becomes the target of a mob scheme and her manager shot, she grabs some old replica Vampblades to defend herself which turn out to be the real deal giving Katie the powers of her favorite hero!
