I have been a customer of yours for quite some time and I bought tons of books from you over the years. My collecting journey started in 1974 when I was in kindergarten. I refused to go to school and my father, who is born in Italy, a strong and proud immigrant would beat me to get me to go to school and when that stopped working he said in his Italian accent, “If you go to school all week and don’t bother your mother, I’ll buy you four comic books," and that’s all it took (it worked, too, because I ended up staying in school for 25 or so years and became a doctor). I’ve been collecting nonstop since that point and have amassed over 100,000 comic books with tons of grails I never thought I would be able to own, like Whiz 1, Marvel Comics 1, Batman 1, Superman 1, Tech 31, and loads of amazing original art. In my long journey as a collector, needless to say, I’ve dealt with every major dealer and auction house out there. They all do some things very well and I can see why some of them are industry leaders. When I got a shipment from you this morning I felt compelled to call customer service to share my experience. There is no one in this industry that packages as carefully and meticulously as you guys do. I can’t even count how many orders I have placed with you, and not one book has ever been close to being damaged. Also, your website is the best in the business. Period. Absolutely comprehensive. The rumor I always heard is that the owners son is some type of MIT genius. If that’s the case, it shows. Finally, your grading is completely reliable every single time. I have NEVER seen an overgraded book from you guys, ever. I don’t always buy from MyComicShop, because frankly sometimes I can get a book cheaper elsewhere, but whenever possible I always go to MyComicShop because the experience is consistent, professional, and I get exactly what I order. I never get that queasy feeling in my stomach when I see a box that I know isn’t packaged well and it’s like a terrible episode of let’s make a deal and a ZONK is behind door number two lol As a business owner myself, I appreciate that most people are motivated to contact you when they have a bad experience I just wanted to take a minute out of my busy schedule (I work 60 hours a week) just to let you know you guys are doing something right. I appreciate it, and keep up the great work.

I think that it has only happened once the couple years I've been collecting. I always wondered, "what if the comic got wet". Now I know someone else cares enough to put extra plastic for protection.
