In Bloodstrike we get a look at the nigh unstoppable killing machine known as Bloodstrike three months before he would debut in the book's continuity in #11. Gimmick? Images of Tomorrow - This issue was part of the Image #25 event. Story by Rob Liefeld and Eric Stephenson. Art by Marat Mychaels, Anthony Winn, and Marlo Alquiza. During one month not long after Image formed many of the books in their stable jumped ahead to issue #25 to give their fans a glimpse into the future of their books. In Brigade we see the team return from a mission in outer space only to be attacked by the government super heroes known as Youngblood. But, why is Battlestone leading the Youngblood into battle against the team he founded? Is Battlestone a traitor? Gimmick? Hey, it's comic books role with it. 32 pages. There was no issue #23-24 of this series. Cover price $1.95.

As the truth of what is happening unfolds before him, Battalion suddenly comes face-to-face with his father, the vile Despot and leader of the Doomsday Weapons known as Warguard. Diva is dead and Jackson's little brother, Malcolm has betrayed the team. Despot has plans for world domination.
