Adventure Comics, an IGA grocery distribution promotional comic (was free with the purchase of IGA's Royal Guest Coffee), is undated, but was released in the 1940s (Overstreet says early 40s, but we think the late 40s is more likely as a copy came in to us along with a lot of other promotional items, all dated late 40s to early 50s), and features characters from titles such as Super-mystery Comics published by Ace Magazines (1940-49). 32-pages, neither stapled nor glued so rare in high grade, 7 x 10-1/4 all newsprint , full color. Stories featuring Magno, the Magnetic Man, The Black Spider, and Peewee Wilson, U.S.A. NOTE: A second edition features Magno, Sky Smith, and Peewee Wilson, U.S.A.
