GI Jane is part of the WACs (Women's Army Corps), allowing her cartoonists, Hal Seeger and Bill Williams, to combine military humor with plentiful good-girl art. Jane uses a cannon for drying her laundry, but accidentally fires it just as a delegation from Congress is visiting the base. In a risque story for its time, Patti goes skinny-dipping, unaware that camouflaged soldiers are on maneuvers next to the pond. The gals get a hotel while on leave, but it doesn't have a private bath. Washday Blues; Patti; The Disguise; PX Pete: He Who Laughs Last; Jill Jones, WAC: Rise and Shine; The Sarge; The "Semi-Private." 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10. Grade: PR 0.5 explanation of grade Condition: Used (collectible)
