Edited by Dez Skinn of Warrior fame, House of Hammer presented comics adaptations and articles based on Hammer Films' legendary horror movies, featuring an array of British comics talent early in their careers. The series starts off with an adaptation of Hammer's first Dracula film, from 1958. The straightforward adaptation of the Bram Stoker classic features a script by Skinn and art by future Marvel artist Paul Neary. Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter returns in an authorized comics sequel to the Hammer adventure film, featuring art by future Judge Dredd and Halo Jones artist Ian Gibson. In a Terror Tales short, a man raises a horde of zombies for revenge against the woman who rejected him - but he chose the wrong zombies. Plus a biography of horror-film legend Christopher Lee, a look at past movie vampires, and the history of movie special effects.
