Featuring America's Greatest Comic Artists, Creators of: Blondie, Lil'l Abner, Small Fry, Winnie Winkle, Green Gornet, Smitty, The Gumps, Reg'lar Fellers, Little Mary Mixup, Skeezix, Dick Tracy, Smilin' Jack, Nancy, the Timid Soul, and many others. Includes a photo of Shirley Temple pasting war savings stamps, and an interesting three page piece of music by the legendary Irving Berlin. The back page has a photo and a letter from Franklin Delinor Roosevelt encouraging readers to support the war effort on the home front. Also includes a photos of Joe Louis and General MacArthur with a stirring tribute by Claire Boothe. Title changes to "War Victory Adventures" for issues #2-3. 36 pages. Cover price $0.05.
