Record of Lodoss War is heroic fantasy at its finest, set in a timeless world of knights and elves, gods and witches, that has led to some of the most popular series of animated films and TV series, comics and graphic novels of all time. Chronicles of the Heroic Knight introduces Spark, the young knight-in-training who serves and waits for the day that his name will appear on the list of knights. The Dark Elf has led a band of skeletal warriors in taking over the city's Pharis monastery and together with the beautiful and magical Neece they face the Elf in the sacred inner sanctum.
