Revised (2002) Edition - 1st printing. Written by Rene Goscinny. Art by Albert Uderzo. Caesar's galley is commandeered by rebel gladiators lead by a certain Spartakis. The mutineers head to the one safe refuge from the Romans-the village of Asterix and Obelix. Everything goes swimmingly until Obelix downs a second vat of Getafix's magic potion and turns first into granite and then into a child. A rescue from the Romans and a trip to Atlantis are necessary before Obelix is restored to his robust form and the bumbling Roman admirals are properly humiliated.
