Story by Lee Falk. Art and cover by Ray Moore. Pacific Comics Club reprints the comic-strip adventures of the seemingly immortal crime-fighter called The Phantom. Collects The Phantom daily pages from July 14, 1941 to January 31, 1942, colorized (the original strips were in black and white). First printed in Italy for comics art collectors, this does not feature Lee Falk's original text, but is translated back into English from Italian. Likewise, the Phantom's costume is red on the cover, which is how the character appears in Italy. The Phantom returns to his secret base when the neighboring tribe alerts him that his ancestors' treasure has been stolen. Realizing it was an inside job, The Phantom sets out to track down Timo, delinquent son of the tribal chieftain. 13-1/2-in. x 9-1/2-in., 60 pages, Full Color.
