Basically, Hank and Janet are having an argument about why neither one wants to spend Christmas with the other one's family when they get a letter from a 12-year-old boy who invites them to spend Christmas with his family. The gag is, the kid hates his relatives (with good reason), and hopes that Ant-Man and Wasp can shake things up a little around his house so that Christmas is fun instead of miserably aggravating. It's something of a warped Christmas, but I figure for most people, that's the rule rather than the exception.
