Ted McKeever completes his 2-issue tour-de-force that exposes the copious junk in modern culture. As the synthetic suburban town becomes a war zone, a head-strong Eve and a heartless Lola grab guns and ammunition to defend themselves as they learn the truth about their origins. Meanwhile, high above the flames, gratuitous pop icon Al Roma is about to give the performance of a lifetime--which is a good thing, since it's quite possibly his last. Psycho-pop science, a deus ex machina, and cracked actors collide in "Deuces Wild." Written, illustrated and cover by Ted McKeever. Mature Readers. FC, 32 pg. Rebax Format. Cover price $2.50.
