Charlton reprints Thane of Bagarth, the back-up feature from their late 1960s Hercules series. During the time of Beowulf, Hrothelac becomes the Thane (chieftain) of Bagarth, and must deal with neighboring tribes, plots by his treacherous brother, and his attraction to a beautiful but common-born woman. The backup story is an early story by Marvel legend Steve Ditko that originally appeared in Out Of This World #11 (1959). Also featuring a one-pager reprinted from Charltons Ghost Manor.
