"In Love with Love" with art by Art Saaf - Ann is tired of her "European-born parents" who are "so old-fashioned" in their attempts to set her up with eligible suitors. When Bob mysteriously sends her a rose and a theatre ticket, Ann falls in love with him. However, she learns he is the son of a friend of her mother's and the date was a set-up. Ann visits her cousin Joan, hoping Bob will track her down. When he doesn't show up, Ann swallows her pride and goes to him. They get engaged. Plus: "Too Much Family!" with pencils by George Tuska - Peg and Jack are newlyweds. She becomes irritated at his family's constant "helpful" suggestions and implied criticisms. Peg turns the tables on them at dinner one night, critiquing her mother-in-law's cooking. Realizing what's happening, everyone agrees to act more tactfully in the future. Also: "Good-Time Girl!" with art by Nick Cardy - Marie doesn't want to share her boyfriend Larry with anyone else, including their friends. When she's injured and confined to a wheelchair, Marie suddenly has Larry's undivided attention and enjoys it. Even when the doctor says she's "as good as new," Marie pretends to be unable to walk. When Larry finds out, he says "you're nothing but a self-centered, spoiled brat!" and breaks up with her. Marie tries to forget her troubles by helping a blind student study for her final exams. This makes Larry change his mind and return to Marie. And: "Shattered Dream!" with art by Alex Toth and John Celardo - Wendy meets farmer Jed while on vacation in the country. They fall in love, although her friends are unsure she will be able to adjust to country life. When Jed is late to their engagement party because his cow is having a calf, Wendy breaks up with him. However, six months later she visits Jed's farm and sees the calf has been named after her. She and Jed are reunited. Plus: "I Ran from Romance" with art by Vernon Greene - After five years of marriage to Jan, Steve gets his big break as director of a TV show starring beautiful Carrie Carson.
