Following late '40s publishing trends and switching genres from superhero to romance, this comic makes a famous title change, from "Moon Girl" to A Moon...A Girl...Romance." Jane gets ideas from a romantic movie and flirts with her sister's boyfriend, resulting in a pre-Code spanking scene by EC legend Graham Ingels, no less. Moon Girl, EC's only superhero, makes her last appearance in the memorably titled romance story I Was a Heart Pirate. This was also the first comics work of Marie Severin, legendary EC and Marvel colorist and artist.
