This issue is based on the 1965 entry in AIP's beloved "Beach Party" series, starring Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, and Buster Keaton. The group harmony of the "Beach Party" gang is tested by the arrival of beautiful singer Sugar Kane and her conniving agent. Sugar's beauty also puts the relationship between Frankie and Annette on the rocks when Frankie takes up sky-diving at Sugar's prompting.
