Story by Don Segall, based on the screenplay by Michael Pertwee. Art by Tony Tallarico. Cover number is #12-530-312. Dell Movie Classics presented comics based on Hollywood films (not all of them classics). This issue is based on the 1963 comedy directed by Richard Lester, a sequel to the Peter Sellers comedy The Mouse That Roared. The Duchy of Grand Fenwick, smallest country in the world, once conquered the United States of America by default. Now, Fenwick's Prime Minister has a plan to seek funding for its space program, knowing the Grand Duchy could never get a man into space. But a ragtag rocket ship made of old furnaces and powered by champagne somehow finds itself on the lunar surface anyway. The original film's director, Richard Lester, went on to make two of the Beatles' finest films, A Hard Day's Night and Help! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.12.
