Technical Manual portfolio for the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea TV show, published in 1993. Written and designed by Frederick Barr. Contents are enclosed in a glossy portfolio enclosing blueprints and a technical manual. The manual has a centerfold of the Nelson Institute for Marine Research base, introduction by Admiral Nelson, a brief history of the Seaview, an overview of the Federal Bureau of Marine Exploration, evolution and technical overview of the Seaview, Flying Sub and Mini-Sub. The main attraction of the portfolio is the well-drawn, highly detailed blueprints of the Seaview submarine and its attendant support craft including the Flying Sub, Control Room, different views of the Seaview, Missile Room, Conning Tower and so much more. Five of the blueprints measure approximately 25-in x 18-in. and the other ten fold out to 11-in. x 17-in. This is quite simply bliss for the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea fan! Portfolio enclosure measures 9-in. x 12-in., 40-page manual with 15 folded prints, black and white manual, blueprints in blue tones.
