The Lost Women is about the disruptive force of revolution - about the people who fall between the cracks. In this case, it's Jamie Hernandez's ingenue heroine, Maggie the Mechanic, and her idol, the former women's wrestling champ, "Queen" Rena Titanon. A terrorist bombing on a small South Seas island separates them from their lovers, friends, and rivals, and throws them into a nightmarish subterranean world - an almost literal hell. Meanwhile, those left behind try to sort out the larger mess the bomb has left them with.
