52 Letters to Salesmen (circa 1925 to 1933), published by the Steven-Davis Co. Contains 52 motivational letters to salesmen together with a page of comics illustrating each week. Thick book, bound with embossed leather, art deco cover. Functioned as a kind of a salesman's scrapbook with many pages left blank for notes or other pertinent information. Features 52 inspirational booklets for salesmen and a full page comic strip for each week of the year, including one extra strip for a full total of 53. Each of the 53 comic pages is accompanied by a related letter addressed to "Bill," with information on selling. The book seems to have been designed for the owner to add some of his own material to make the information inside relative to his line of sales. Among the rarest known comic items and a tremendous piece of comics history.
