1st printing. Collects Concrete (1987) #1-10. Story and art by Paul Chadwick. This trade paperback collects the original 10 issues of the critically acclaimed Concrete, in which political speechwriter Ronald Lithgow gets abducted by aliens and is transformed into a roughly hewn, rock hard creature that resembles (at least fleetingly) a rounder version of Marvel's The Thing. However, Concrete is more of a thinking-man's hero. Softcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 240 pages, B&W. Cover price $24.95.
