However Hank Pym andJanet van Dyne decide to remain at the mansion to work on a new experiment involving red ants. But the dramatic appearance of the Whirlwind (formerly known as the Human Top) interrupts their work! Goliath and the Wasp havedefeated him in the past. However the Whirlwind scouted Avengers Mansion earlier in the day (as Jan's chauffer) -- and he blasts them with a reducing ray! Then the Whirlwind throws the pair into Hank's ant farm without their cybernetic equipment. So Hank and Jan cannot talk to the ants! And the ants are very hungry! The situation looks grim...and becomes even grimmer when the Whirlwind plants a bomb inside the mansion to kill the remaining avengers. How can Earth's Mightiest Heroes turn their plight around...andavoid reaping the whirlwind? Cameo appearance by the Black Widow.
