But life is not so good for the Avengers' butler, Edwin Jarvis. His mother's rising medical bills have forced him to do the unthinkable! Betray the Avengers to a mysterious individual called the Crimson Cowl! When Jarvis journeys downtown to meet the cowl, he also meets the cowl's accomplices: the new Masters of Evil! The villainous quintet includes Klaw, Whirlwind, the Radioactive Man, the Melter, and the Black Knight! However, once the knight learns what the Crimson Cowl is planning, he tries to warn the Avengers! But the new masters intercept him right above the mansion!
