Stories and art by Chester Gould and others. Harvey, best known for its children's comics, reprints the original comic-strip adventures of legendary tough cop Dick Tracy and his rogues gallery of freakish enemies. In the Comics Code era, some of the original art is altered to remove violent content and narrative repetition. This issue reprints strips from December 1941 – January1942. Investigating con man Jacques, Dick Tracy is caught in the infamous "tunnel trap" - the deathtrap that was so tough, even Chester Gould couldn't figure a way out of it. Cover art may be the work of comics legend John Severin. The Tunnel Trap; Last Hope; Minit Mystery. 36 Pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
