First came the Fantastic Four, soon to be followed by the Amazing Spider-Man, the Mighty Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man, and the Uncanny X-Men. These were Marvel's heroes, stalwart and true, ready to face any and all threats to mankind. Marvel Masterworks were created to give fans a chance to experience this phenomenon from the beginning.
