The following line from the Human Cat's girlfriend was singled out by Fredric Wertham as "An invitation to learning" in Seduction of the Innocent: "Where ya goin' on a night like dis, Tony? Ya ain't gonna shoot anybody with dat rod, are ya?" Red Keenan's gang goes on a spree of murder and robbery, in a violent story with art by Plastic Man creator Jack Cole.
