Plus: "Man Crazy" with art by Ken Landau - The "flirtatious and party seeking" Joan has many boyfriends and wants to find a rich husband, while her "pretty but homey" sister Connie is happy with Andy. To reunite Connie and Andy, Joan pretends he was nothing but a passing fling to her. She hopes to find real love herself, some day. Also: "Mama's Girl" with art by Marty Elkin - Carol feels suffocated by her widowed mother, who manages the personnel department of the store where they both work, and encourages Carol to date only men who have bright futures. And: "Meant for Marriage" with pencils by Herb Familton - Susan refuses to marry Ted before his overseas military deployment, fearing he'll be killed. They break up. Vivian, a lady on a nearby park bench, tells Susan the story of her long-ago romance with Jim. She wanted to wait to marry until Jim finished law school and became successful. Vivian turns down other suitors, but Jim never comes back and one day she learns he married someone else. A lifelong spinster now, Vivian urges Susan to marry Ted right away and the young couple is happily reunited. After they're gone, Vivian greets her long-time husband, Jim. She lied!
