Direct Edition. "To Avenge the Avengers!" Part 2 of 2. Guest-starring the Silver Surfer. Script by Jim Shooter. Pencils by Alan Weiss. Inks by Dan Green. Cover by Alan Weiss. In stunning fashion the Avengers and the Silver Surfer have gone down to defeat at the hands of the Molecule Man! Now only Tigra remains to confront the misguided maniac! However, Owen Reece appears to be lost in his own little world and allows the Avengers to regroup after their near death experience. But Iron Man and Thor are out of action! It's going to be Tony Stark, Donald Blake, Captain America, Tigra, and the Silver Surfer making the final valiant stand against the Molecule Man! A terrific two-part story! Cameo appearance by the Fantastic Four. (Notes: In this issue Captain America finally learns the secret identities of Iron Man and Thor. This two-part story established the awesome power of the Molecule Man that would be featured in the Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars Limited Series. The letters page includes a letter from comics editor Kevin Dooley.) 36 pages Cover price $0.60.
