Comics Television and Children (February, 1955, 1st Edition, Ave Maria Press, 10c cover price) by Floyd Anderson, the managing editor of "The Advocate," a Christian newspaper from Newark, New Jersey. Anderson examines the violence, sex, and other inappropriate content found in the media, with particular attention paid to TV and comic books. Because Comics Television and Children is not solely about comics, it does not go into great depth, but it does discusses the Comics Code, calls for censorship, parental responsibility, and the government hearings on comics.
