Trained from birth by Tibetan monks to attain physical and mental perfection, Peter Cannon becomes Thunderbolt, one of Charlton's most significant contributions to the superhero genre. Thunderbolt goes after the Cobra, a villain who turns people into mind-controlled slaves with an extract of cobra venom. Superhero rock band the Sentinels gets a TV gig, but that just provokes an attack by the unstoppable android called the Titan, in an early story by legendary comics scribe Gary Friedrich.
