This issue reprints her origin from Rangers Comics (1941) #21: an amnesiac girl, known only as Princess Smith, is taken in by the Dakota after her father's murder; later, Firehair regains her memory and her identity as Lynn Cabot of Boston. The cover has her tackling two black bears while armed with only a knife and a torch.
