Creator Al Capp's commentary on almost every facet of the national scene was jeered by some and cheered by many. This first volume reprints the 1934-1935 daily strips and includes an introduction by Capp's widow, Catherine Capp. Also included are articles about Capp's early years on Abner and its characters.
