    Monday, July 1, 1940. Page 21-22 from the Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper. The front side of the page has ten golden age comic strips with news content on the back.

    The most prominent comic strip stars Superman, who appears fully in costume in the last panel. Of course, other strips also feature very notable Americana icons - Little Orphan Annie, Joe Palooka, Thimble Theater starring Popeye. Single page from newspaper, b&w, measures 16 1/2" x 22" unfolded.
