Guest edited by Sammy Harkham, the award-winning creator of the popular Kramers Ergot anthology, this year's issue is jam-packed with some of the most idiosyncratic (and weirdest) takes on The Simpsons universe ever. Kevin Huizenga (Ganges) and Matthew Thurber (Kramers Ergot) collaborate on a story equal parts Lovecraftian eco-horror and Philip K. Dick identity comedy. Jeffrey Brown (Incredible Change-Bots) does a creepy story featuring Milhouse, murder, and crawl space living. Harkham and Ted May tell a tragic monster tale of unrequited love, bad karaoke, and body snatching at Moe's Bar. Ben Jones (Paper Rad) does the epic tale of how bootleg candy sold at the Kwik-E-Mart rapidly spirals out of control into an Invasion of The Body Snatchers-like nightmare of a Springfield filled with cheap bootleg versions of familiar characters. 1st printing.

Story and art by Don Lomax. Cover by Balazs Petheo.

The Battle of Hamburger Hill took place May 13-20, 1969 and was fought by U.S. Army and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) forces against the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) of North Vietnam during Operation Apache Snow. The hill had little strategic value but U.S. command ordered its capture by a frontal assault. Upon capture by U.S. forces the hill was soon abandoned, falling back into North Vietnam hands. The action caused a controversy both within the American military and back home with the public.

Don Lomax, who served during the Vietnam War and put to paper his experiences, tells the story of Hamburger Hill through the eyes of embedded war reporter Scott "Journal" Neithammer.

Collected here is the entire serial as it appeared in Gallery Magazine.
