The Precious Cargo of Colonel Winn. Story by Lee Falk. Art and cover by Ray Moore. Pacific Comics Club reprints the comic-strip adventures of the seemingly immortal crime-fighter called The Phantom. Collects The Phantom Sunday pages from Oct. 22, 1939 to March 10, 1940. First printed in Italy for comics art collectors, this does not feature Lee Falk's original text, but is translated back into English from Italian. Likewise, the Phantom's costume is red on the cover, which is how the character appears in Italy. This issue includes the second Phantom Sunday story. The Phantom receives a coded message from the dying Colonel Winn, who implores him to deliver it to a secret agent in order to prevent a catastrophe.
