Appearances by Sif, Hildegarde, Karnilla, the Absorbing Man, Steve Englehart, Gerry Conway, Len Wein, and Glynis Wein. Cameos by Captain America, the Vision, the Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Dr. Doom, Superman, Batman, the Black Panther, Quicksilver, and Hawkeye (costumes in the Rutland Halloween Parade). Plot crossover with Rutland stories in Amazing Adventures 16 and the Justice League of America 103 (DC Comics). The Bullpen staff was pencilled by Marie Severin from John Buscema layouts; finished art by Vince Colletta. Gil Kane/Joe Sinnott cover.

First appearance of the Fourth-Dimensional Man in "The Fourth-Dimensional Man!", script by Gerry Conway, pencils by John Buscema, inks by Vince Colletta; Thor and Hildegarde return to Avengers Mansion to think on what they must do; Meanwhile, Mr. Sarron returns to Don Blake's office and transforms himself into Mercurio by absorbing the ambient energy leftover from all of his transformations into Thor; But there is not enough energy, and he partly materializes; Passing over his old office, Thor notices a light inside and investigates, only to be attacked by Mercurio; While in Avengers Mansion, the Warriors Three notice on a monitor the battle, and go to help Thor; When they arrive, they begin to attack, but don't notice that Thor is gone. While so, Trolls steal him back to their caverns, but before they get very far, Thor wakes up; But before he can do anything, Ulik strikes; During the battle, other Trolls bring up a large chunk of magnetized Uru ore, which pulls Mjolnir free from Thor, and holds it tight while the Trolls carry it off; Thor races after them, but before his eyes, they hurl it all into the flaming foundry; But before he changes back to Blake, Thor lunges into the foundry after it. "Into the Dark Nebula!", script by Gerry Conway, pencils by Sal Buscema, inks by Jim Mooney; The Asgardians travel to the Dark Nebula, there they are attacked by the miners, who think that they are raiders coming to attack again; Once they are defeated and realize who they are, they offer to help; They begin to check with the Alterian miners who deal in slaves, when they are attacked by Mercurio and his army; While they are fighting, the three miners surrender themselves to a gigantic jewel in their mine; The jewel then erupts from the surface and Thor sees that Sif and Karnilla are trapped within the jewel; The voice of the jewel tells them that if they come any closer, they will die.
