Mature readers. Issues # 1-25 published by Gothic Castle Publishing Co. thru January 1962-June 1975. This series was restarted in 1999 with issue # 26 by Dennis Druktenis Publishing. A more critical (and sometimes more adult) alternative to the pun-filled Famous Monsters of Filmland, Castle of Frankenstein covered the worlds of horror, fantasy, and science fiction movies.
